Material Handler - Production . 1st /shift
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Move materials to lines per the production schedule. Counts inventory for each line. Must be able to distinguish product numbers and match to the production schedule.
Meets productivity standards
Read and understand Bill of Materials and Production Schedule
Assemble and set-up raw materials for production on multiple lines per the Production Schedule
Moves fiber bales by pushing or pulling.
Must ensure that each line has the appropriate inventory items to produce the quantities specified in the Production Schedule
Matches inventory part numbers to Schedule and Bill of Materials
Continually replenishes lines as needed or as per schedule.
Material Handler may be assigned across machines or functional areas of manufacturing and are expected after initial training to perform with minimal supervision. All Hollander employees play a crucial role in meeting our customer requirements, employees may be asked to assist with other duties to meet those requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. English proficiency to read scanner screens and production schedule.
